Development of Global Insight Through Social and Educational Visit
In November 2023, participants embarked on a Malaysia–Singapore exchange program that provided a unique opportunity to explore leading Malaysian universities, interact with local student communities, and gain insights into global academic and social dynamics. Students visited Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM), discovering diverse educational practices, research initiatives, and cultural experiences.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, one of the nation’s leading universities, welcomed participants with an insightful look into its academic environment. Students attended information sessions on programs and scholarship opportunities, gaining practical knowledge about study pathways and research initiatives. The campus tour allowed participants to explore key facilities and engage with local students and faculty, offering a firsthand experience of university life and academic culture. This combination of guided exploration and informative sessions helped participants develop a clear understanding of the opportunities available at UKM.
University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM)
University of Nottingham Malaysia, a globally recognized branch of a top UK university, provided participants with both academic and cultural insights. Students attended sessions introducing the university’s programs, scholarships, and research initiatives, followed by a campus tour to observe learning spaces and student activities. Interactions with UNM faculty and students offered valuable perspectives on teaching methods, academic expectations, and campus life in a multicultural environment. This visit equipped participants with a practical understanding of the academic and social opportunities at UNM while inspiring them to think about international education pathways.
