Participants depart for Tokyo, beginning their cultural and academic journey in Japan’s vibrant capital. Upon arrival, students experience their first glimpse of Japanese hospitality, efficiency, and atmosphere. This day focuses on settling in, resting after the flight, and preparing for the exciting exploration and learning activities that await in the days ahead.

STARTING AND EXPLORING
Ueno Park Akihabara
The day starts at Ueno Park, one of Tokyo’s most iconic public spaces known for its serene atmosphere, traditional shrines, museums, and seasonal beauty. Participants can enjoy the vast open spaces and get a taste of daily Japanese life.
The journey continues to Akihabara, the electric town famous for anime shops, gaming centers, and colorful pop-culture streets. This vibrant contrast offers a perfect introduction to both the traditional and modern sides of Tokyo.

EXCHANGE AND EXPLORE
Cultural Exchange Language Class Tea Ceremony Asakusa Tokyo Skytree
Participants begin the day with a Japanese language class, learning basic phrases and etiquette to enhance cultural understanding. Then, an opportunity to participate in an authentic tea ceremony gives an immersive experience of Japan’s deep-rooted traditions in mindfulness and hospitality.
The exploration continues in Asakusa, home to the historic Senso-ji Temple and charming old-town streets. The day concludes with a panoramic visit to Tokyo Skytree, where students can enjoy breathtaking views of the city’s skyline.

Sophia University Shibuya Harajuku
An academic visit to Sophia University, one of Japan’s top international universities, gives participants a closer look at campus life, global programs, and learning environments in Japan. After the campus tour, the group heads to Shibuya, famous for its bustling crossing, youth culture, and trendsetting atmosphere. The final stop is Harajuku, known for its colorful fashion streets, unique shops, and creative energy. It offers students a fun immersion into Tokyo’s modern cultural scene.

Back to Indonesia

The journey concludes with safe travel back to Indonesia..
